Whether you are for or against the war the fact is that the US Military is in Iraq because they were sent there by the US government. These men and women are far from home in a very unpleasant situation to say the least. Many have contacted me about meeting their families in Greece. I asked Olympic Airlines about getting discounted rates for families going to Greece to meet their husbands (or wives) stationed in Iraq with no response, so far. I asked David at www.greeceflights.com if he could try to get the airlines to offer some discounts. He said he would try but not to hold my breath waiting for their response. So I asked George at Fantasy Travel if he could put together some discounted packages that will make it easier for the soldiers and their families to afford going to Athens and the islands and staying in a nice hotel and forgetting about the war. He came up with these: Winter R&R Programs (and according to George, because you can't offer one price to one person and a lower price to another based on their profession these packages are available to anyone who asks for them whether you are military or civilian, stationed in Iraq or not.)
