Who are the guides?

Alexandra, Anna and Panagiotis are three young, knowledgeable and enthusiastic licensed tour guides who can help you get the most out of your visit to Santorini. Whether you want to visit cosmopolitan Oia, the traditional village of Pyrgos, ancient Akrotiri, Ancient Thira or the many important archaeological and cultural sites and museums around the island they will guide you not just as a locals who know the island but as licensed professional guides. All three of them have studied History & Archaeology at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. Their ideas on what to see and do on the island, are inexhaustible and can satisfy all the tastes while combining culture, food, wine and fun not only in the well known popular places where the tourists go but also off the beaten path.

Santorini, Greece

Highlights of Santorini
Everything you need from a tour you can find it in this well organized 6 hour tour of the island. We may start our adventure from the most photographed village, Oia, on the northernmost tip of Santorini! The unique architectural style with the famous cave houses and the mansions, the beautiful blue domed churches and the narrow paved roads make us understand the reason why Oia was the first to be listed in Greece as a village-monument. Next we will head to the highest peak of the island, the mountain of Prophet Elias, where we can enjoy the breathtaking view of Santorini and the nearby Cyclades Islands and visit the old Orthodox monastery of Prophet Elias. Afterwards we will follow the  labyrinthine streets of a medieval village and discover the ruins of the Venetian castle of Pyrgos, the old capital of the island.. Our drive through the vineyards will lead us to one of the oldest wineries of the island where we will have the opportunity to sample the local wines! The volcanic soil of the island is unique in the world and its characteristics passed onto the wine. The vineyards of Santorini are among the most ancient in the entire world! Akrotiri, Santorini

Akrotiri Archaeological Tour
The archaeological site of Akrotiri is considered to be one of the most important prehistoric settlements ever found, as it disappeared after a tremendous volcanic eruption. It is often referred to as the “Pompeii of the Aegean”. We will walk among the well-preserved buildings down streets that are 4000 years old as we share our knowledge with you that will bring the ancient site to life. Oia and Wine Tour
Oia is considered to be one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in the world. Oia and Fira
In Oia you will see its traditional whitewashed houses, blue-domed chapels, spectacular views of the volcano and caldera. Next stop of our tour the dazzling Fira, the capital of the island. A beautiful town situated on the cliffs that has a nice path throughout it, from which you can look over the caldera and the volcanic islands. After our visit to Oia, we visit the quiet and elegant suburbs of the capital of Santorini, Imerovigli and Firostefani, where we will walk along the cliffside walkway and conclude to Fira town where the cable car station is situated. Pyrgos, Santorini

Medieval Santorini
This tour starts with a visit to Pyrgos, a medieval village, which is also the highest built village of Santorini and once the capital of the island. We will visit the Venetian castle which is crowned by several churches. Next stop is Megalochori, another beautiful village, whose existence dates back to the 17th century. It’s an area full of wineries, the pride of the island. We will taste the wines of the ancient vineyards. Next we will wander together in the narrow alleys of Emporio or Nimporio village, the most well preserved medieval settlement of Santorini. We will begin our tour heading to the northernmost part of the island which is dominated by the picturesque village of Oia where every turn is the perfect photograph. Then driving to the south, stopping wherever you would like to and choosing the ideal place for your unique pictures. Our next stop is the village of Firostefani, the “crown of Fira” , where you can find the famous, most photographed, blue-domed churches and walk along the cliffside walkway. Next we visit the Northeast part of the island to the highest part, the mountain of Prophet Elias that stands some 2000 feet above sea level and gives you a panoramic view of the area and the surrounding islands. Passing through villages with medieval castles, our next stop will be the southern part of the island where prehistoric men left indelible marks of their culture in Akrotiri, the “Pompeii of the Aegean”.
